Health High School (Boys) Class Code: 831 Department: Health/School Nurse Catalog Description: Senior High Health is a .5 credit course required by New York State for completion of High School graduation requirements. The course is studied from "The Total Health Concept". It reinforces and expands upon prior Health Education as well as introduces new and age-appropriate health information at the Senior High level. Education is emphasized as primary prevention. Health Education provides the student with tools to assist them in making healthy, responsible and Godly choices in the areas of physical, mental, emotional and social health.

PE 7-8 (Boys) Class Code: 850B Department: Physical Education Catalog Description: Students will engage in a variety of activities to promote social, emotional, physical and spiritual growth. Students will learn basic rules and skills for: Soccer, football, lacrosse, softball, basketball, badminton, speedball and volleyball. Emphasis is placed on each student demonstrating and developing Christian character. Cooperative activities will be used to enhance interpersonal skills, group dynamics and problem-solving skills.

Lifetime fitness and leisure activities such as orienteering and tennis will be included. The awareness of one's personal fitness will be developed through jogging, weight training and tae-bo units. The development and demonstration of Christian character will transcend through each unit.
