Priority Prayer List November 2009

Thank you for faithfully praying for the students and staff at LCS. We resume suggestions for priority prayer, trusting that the Holy Spirit will lead each person. 1. Praise the Lord for the special chapels during the recent Spiritual Emphasis. Pray for continuing spiritual growth of students. 2. Praise for positive response of students to "servant-learner" emphasis. Two classes have offered to pay the annual salary of a teacher at our "sister school" in Malawi. Other classes have gathered supplies. 3. Spaghetti dinner and Silent Auction, planning and coordination as it moves up to Elim on Friday, November 20. 4. Upcoming Basketball season - practice starts 11/9 5. Preparation for Christmas concerts - combined band/choral concert scheduled for Thursday, December 17. 6. Staff members dealing with the loss of loved ones (Marianne Greiner, Heidi Rupe) 7. Health for students and staff during the flu season. 8. Building campaign to be launched this month. The goal is to raise at least 3/4 of the $638,000 price tag by August of next year so we can begin building. 9. Additional enrollment in the international program and prayer for the students presently in it. 10. Carol Parks who is starting a three week session of chemo after having a chemo session that ended four weeks ago in which the tumors decreased by 50% of what they were". (Carols says her energy is down but she would appreciate visits and phone calls.) Nancy Thompson who is still seeking healing from dizzyness and imbalance issues. 11.
